The Sheraton name was on this hotel for more than forty years. That is why a Sheraton Parsippany New Year's Eve search still makes sense. The building did not move. It is 199 Smith Road, Parsippany, NJ 07054. The name on it now is Dolce by Wyndham Parsippany, the Dolce Hotel Parsippany.
Thursday, December 31, 2026, 8 PM to 1 AM, the New Years NJ gala is at this Dolce. It is not at a different hotel. It is about 15 minutes from Morristown, in Morris County, off I-287 and I-80. The evening program is on NewYearsNJ.com.
What the hotel publishes about the stay
Dolce's own site describes a castle-style exterior, 370 non-smoking rooms and suites, free parking, free Wi-Fi, a heated indoor pool, a fitness club, and Amuse Restaurant and Bar on the property. The rooms they list include a king bed, two queen beds, or two double beds, depending on the room. On the New Years NJ package you choose a king bed or two beds, typically two queens, when you book.
People do not do this every Saturday. After a full year, $799.99 per couple is the whole night in this building: two gala tickets, the room, a five-hour open bar, dinner, live music, breakfast from 8 to 11 AM, and late checkout at 1 PM. Check-in is 4 PM, or 2 PM with Platinum. You stay over so you don't drive home. The ballroom is large enough to sit away from the speakers. Dinner is three courses: salad, then filet mignon and shrimp, with salmon, chicken, or vegetarian. The chef has not chosen the dessert. The open bar runs five hours. A single ticket without a room is $299.99. Platinum is $99.99 and is the only way to the 7:45 PM cocktail hour. A 3% card fee applies at checkout. INVITE2027 takes $50 off the couple package and the single ticket through Saturday, November 7. Our gala is for guests 21+, and children are allowed with their parents. It is not a children's countdown or a kids' party. A mostly-adult table with older kids or teens can call (908) 799-8294 to sit together. The policy is on the New Years NJ FAQ.
The other past hotels were not this building. The Madison Hotel and the Westin Governor Morris were in Morristown. The Hanover Marriott was another hotel. New Year's Eve near Morristown explains that drive.
A published guest note, from newyearsnj.com/reviews: "This was a great deal, especially with the included hotel room, entertainment and food." Tom R. Bands are on the entertainment page. More evening questions are on the FAQ.
