If you are looking for New Year's Eve in Morristown, the New Years NJ gala has been there. The Madison Hotel was in Morristown. The Westin Governor Morris was in Morristown too. Those were other years. We are not assigning a year to either hotel here, because this page does not have a year-by-year list.
This year is different, and it should be said plainly. Thursday, December 31, 2026, 8 PM to 1 AM, is not in Morristown. The overnight hotel package is about 15 minutes away, at the Dolce Hotel Parsippany, Dolce by Wyndham Parsippany, formerly the Sheraton Parsippany, 199 Smith Road, Parsippany, NJ 07054. Morris County, off I-287 and I-80.
The Hanover Marriott was another year at another hotel. It was not a Morristown hotel. The Sheraton Parsippany is the same building as this year's Dolce. The name was on that hotel for more than forty years, which is why people still search it. The Sheraton name change.
The overnight package, 15 minutes from Morristown
There is only one New Year's Eve, and it is a fair thing to spend on one real night after a hard year or a busy one. VIP Couple's Gold is $799.99 per couple because the evening stays under one roof: two gala tickets, the overnight room, a five-hour open bar, a three-course dinner, live music, breakfast from 8 to 11 AM, and late checkout at 1 PM. You choose a king bed or two beds, typically two queens, when you book. Check-in is 4 PM, or 2 PM with the $99.99 Platinum upgrade. No one has to drive home at 1 AM.
The night is a five-hour open bar and a three-course dinner: salad, then filet mignon and shrimp, with salmon, chicken, or vegetarian. The chef has not chosen the dessert. Live music is on the gala's entertainment page: Glass Houses, The Billy Joel Concert Experience, and Daddy Pop, plus a midnight champagne toast. The ballroom is large enough to sit away from the speakers. A single gala ticket, with no room, is $299.99. Platinum's early cocktail hour is 7:45 PM, only with that upgrade. Our gala is for guests 21+, and children are allowed with their parents. It is not a children's countdown or a kids' party.
