If you searched for New Year's Eve at the Hanover Marriott, or for the Marriott Hanover, that was us in another year. It was a different hotel from this year's. We are not printing a date for that Hanover year, because this site does not keep a year-by-year venue list.
Thursday, December 31, 2026 is not at the Hanover Marriott. The New Years NJ overnight package is at the Dolce Hotel Parsippany, Dolce by Wyndham Parsippany, formerly the Sheraton Parsippany, 199 Smith Road, Parsippany. That is Morris County, about 15 minutes from Morristown. The gala runs 8 PM to 1 AM. The evening write-up is on NewYearsNJ.com.
What transferred to this year's package
The room is the point of this site. There is only one New Year's Eve, and VIP Couple's Gold is $799.99 per couple because the night stays together: two tickets, an overnight room with a king bed or two beds (typically two queens, chosen at booking), a five-hour open bar, dinner, live music, a full-service American breakfast for two from 8 to 11 AM, and late checkout at 1 PM. Check-in is 4 PM, or 2 PM with Platinum. No one has to drive home at 1 AM.
The Hanover night and the Parsippany night are the same hosts, not the same building. People who remember the Marriott often also remember the Sheraton Parsippany, which is now the Dolce, or the Morristown years at the Madison Hotel and the Westin Governor Morris.
Dinner this year is three courses: salad, then filet mignon and shrimp, with salmon, chicken, or vegetarian. No dessert has been named. The open bar is five hours. Glass Houses and Daddy Pop are on the entertainment page. The ballroom is large enough to sit away from the speakers. A single ticket without a room is $299.99. Platinum is $99.99, and only that upgrade opens the cocktail hour at 7:45 PM. A 3% card fee applies at checkout. INVITE2027 is $50 off through Saturday, November 7. Our gala is for guests 21+, and children are allowed with their parents. It is not a children's countdown or a kids' party.
